Environmental Protection & Conservation

By now most of you must be aware of my drive against the environmental degradation.

This morning I woke up with a marvellous thought "why not contribute towards Environmental Protection". Talking about "Environmental Concerns" have become a routine, be it breakfast, lunch, tea break or even dinner. It is in the air, it is the concern of a labourer, farmer, industrialist, student, researcher, scientist, politician and policy maker.
I'm also concerned about the local impacts if not global. Always thinking what could be the effective ways? how a simple man can contribute towards this mission of "Environmental Protection and Conservation".
So the idea is a Mass Awareness Campaign for using Bicycles (wherever possible) for reducing pollution, improving health etc...and lastly contribtuting towards regional/state/national economy. I want to start this campaign in Himachal Pradesh and later it can be replicated elsewhere. We'll invite every citizen of the area including school children, college students, office bearers etc.. Every school and college of the state of Himachal Pradesh (INDIA) will be encouraged to participate in the event.
Now I want your ideas/suggestions for making it a successful campaign ever by substantiating information/literature regarding the usefulness of bicycles for an individual's health, reducing carbon emission, saving fossil fuel and savings towards economy.
Pls. provide your valuable ideas/suggestions for effectiveness of this campaign which will begun on the World's Environment Day.
I have never organized such an event, this time I want to take this opportunity with all your support, guidance and blessings.
